WordCamp Dhaka 2025: FluentCarts Journey, Takeaways, and Excitement

A long-awaited event for Bangladeshi WordPress enthusiasts took place last week in the capital city. WordCamp Dhaka 2025, and what an incredible event it was! From attendees and speakers to organizers and volunteers, everyone just made it truly unforgettable.

This wasn’t just another local WordCamp. It was the biggest local WordCamp in Asia. There were 1,246 attendees, making it the largest ever local WordCamp in Asia. It surpassed the previous record set by WordCamp Ahmedabad 2023. That’s huge!

Look Back at WordCamp Dhaka 2025

Already, we talked about how it was the biggest local WordCamp in Asia in terms of attendee count.  Even the other scales of WordCamp Dhaka 2025 were truly impressive:

• 1,246 Attendees – A testament to the vibrant WordPress community in Bangladesh
• 22 Speakers – Industry experts sharing knowledge and insights
• 34 Organizers – The dedicated team that made it all possible
• 36 Sponsors – Companies investing in the WordPress ecosystem
• 60 Volunteers – The backbone of this massive community event

Day 1: Conference Day

WordCamp Dhaka 2025 began on 19th October at Senaprangan, Dhaka. Attendees picked up their swags at the registration booth before the event officially kicked off with the Opening Ceremony.

As a proud Platinum Sponsor, FluentCart actively engaged with visitors at its booth, hosting an exclusive giveaway and connecting with the community. Almost the whole FluentCart team participated throughout the day.

The program consisted of 11 sessions and two panel discussions, during which speakers shared their WordPress journeys and industry insights. The day ended with a surprise speaking session that added an exciting twist.

Day 2: Contributor Day

Held at AIUB, Day 2 focused on contribution and collaboration. Over 50 contributors gathered across 14 table sessions led by experienced table leads who guided participants on how to make an impact in different areas of WordPress.

Seven students joined through the Campus Connect Program, bringing fresh energy and enthusiasm. The day was filled with teamwork, knowledge-sharing, and real-time contributions to WordPress.

It wrapped up with tokens of appreciation for table leads and swag distribution for contributors and volunteers. A heartfelt end to a day of open-source spirit.
