FluentCart 1.3.22 – Introducing Advanced Inventory Management

Day 4 of release week, and yes, the release train is still moving.
FluentCart 1.3.22 puts Advanced Inventory at the center of the release and expands package information across the storefront, checkout, and transactional emails. For merchants selling physical products, this update makes inventory control more deliberate behind the scenes while making shipping details far more visible to shoppers.
Advanced Inventory arrives as a pro feature, introducing the foundation for real inventory workflows beyond a single stock value per variant. Alongside that, package dimensions and weight now appear where customers actually look: on the product page, in the order summary, and in the receipt. Shipping also gets a focused round of reliability fixes, resolving zone loading failures, missing country routes, and rate configuration quirks.
Taken together, 1.3.22 is a release about making physical product commerce more controlled for merchants, more transparent for shoppers, and more reliable throughout the buying journey.
Advanced Inventory Management in FluentCart Pro
FluentCart Pro now includes Advanced Inventory, a dedicated new feature that lays the foundation for proper stock control inside the plugin. Instead of relying on a simple stock value alone, merchants now get the groundwork for auditable inventory workflows built for growing stores.

Enable Stock Management first, then turn on Advanced Inventory from the same Features & addon screen.

Once enabled, FluentCart adds a dedicated Inventory workspace for bulk stock updates, adjustment history, and a clearer view of stock movement across your catalog.
For the full setup guide, see the documentation here.
New stock table records every inventory change, including old value, new value, reason, optional custom note, and the user who made the adjustment. That gives merchants a clear history of how stock changed over time and creates a stronger base for warehouse and operational workflows.

Advanced Inventory in FluentCart Pro ships with a full set of inventory API endpoints for listing, updating, adjustment history.
It also includes a query optimized stats endpoint that aggregates directly in SQL instead of loading the full catalog into memory, making it safer to run on larger stores.
A dedicated Inventory submenu is added in WP Admin next to Products whenever Advanced Inventory is enabled, giving merchants a clear operational entry point for inventory tasks.
Advanced Inventory is a FluentCart Pro feature and activates only when both Stock management is enabled and Advanced Inventory is enabled. That means existing stores see no behavior change until they explicitly opt in.
Gutenberg Product Package Description Block
Package details including package name, dimensions, product weight, and shipping weight are now available as a native Gutenberg block that can be added to any single product page. The block renders as a clean key value table, matches the theme’s typography through CSS variables, and ships inside the default FSE product template so block theme stores pick it up automatically.

The block is variant aware. When a shopper switches variants, the package table rebuilds in place without a reload. There are no AJAX round trips, no flicker, and no stale data. Merchants who sell bundles, heavy items, and lightweight accessories in the same catalog can now show shoppers exactly what is shipping before checkout.
Inspector settings let builders toggle product weight, total product plus package weight, and dimension display independently, so the block fits a wide range of product types.
Package information throughout the buying journey
The new package details do not stop at the product page. In this version, package information now flows through the full customer journey.
The checkout order summary now shows package name and shipping weight directly beneath each cart line, with a type icon that matches the admin panel. Shoppers see shipping expectations before they pay, not after.

Transactional emails now carry the same package details into order confirmations and receipts. The email renderer reads from an order item snapshot captured at checkout, so what the customer saw on the invoice is the same information they see in the email, even if product data changes.
Improvements
Flexible weight tier ranges in shipping tiers. Merchants can now set gaps such as 0 to 10 and then 15 to 20, and edit the minimum on any tier with inline validation that blocks overlaps and invalid max below min configurations before saving.

Block theme support for the Package Description block now includes the default single product template for FSE themes, so it works out of the box in modern WordPress stores.
Translations support for missing Stripe Elements.
Fixes and stability
Shipping receives a solid reliability pass in this release. Shipping zone list loading issues have been resolved, and the amount field in the shipping method list is now clearer and more informative. If your store sells physical products, this release is well worth the upgrade.
