FluentCart 1.5.4 – new blocks, steadier rails

FluentCart 1.5.4 works both ends of running a store: the pages your customers see and the payment machinery they never do. Bricks Builder users get a native set of FluentCart building blocks, marketing attribution now survives the move between your own sites, and connected AI assistants can finally search store data with real precision. Underneath all of that, PayPal subscription handling has been made considerably more dependable.
It is a feature-led release with a stability backbone. Alongside the headline additions, a round of paper-cut fixes lands across the storefront, reporting, and receipts.
Your storefront can now be built in Bricks, block by block
Store owners who design with Bricks Builder have long had to stitch FluentCart into their pages with shortcodes and workarounds. The new FluentCart Bricks Blocks addon changes that. It ships a full set of native Bricks elements, product grids and cards, add to cart and buy now buttons, checkout, mini cart, product search, related products, and the customer dashboard among them, so an entire store can be assembled visually without leaving the builder.

The addon is listed on the Addons page inside FluentCart and installs from there in a click. A new step in the dashboardās Getting Started checklist walks new stores through setting it up, and the same checklist now covers the Elementor addon as well. The Products grid also picked up a fix in this release, so columns respect responsive settings and collapse properly on small screens.
If Bricks is your builder of choice, FluentCart now meets you there as a first-class citizen.
Connected AI assistants can now really search your store
FluentCart can already talk to AI assistants, and this release makes those conversations far more useful. Assistants connected to your store gain a much sharper search across orders, customers, products, and subscriptions, with rich filtering behind it. Questions that used to return shallow or partial answers can now be answered precisely, straight from live store data.
For store owners experimenting with AI in their daily operations, the assistant stops being a novelty and starts being a way to actually interrogate the business.
Improvements
Safer product setup. Switching a product into Advanced Variations is a one-way door, so FluentCart now asks for confirmation before the switch no matter which pricing type the product is coming from. In the same spirit, installment billing now enforces a minimum of two installments, so a payment plan can no longer be misconfigured into a single payment.
Clearer order details. The shipping method a customer chose is now shown by name to both admins and customers, removing a small but recurring point of guesswork when reviewing or fulfilling orders.
Customer dashboard polish. Dates in the customer dashboard now include the year, and the orders list no longer flashes while loading.
Translation readiness. More text across PDF templates, the admin area, and the block editor is now translation-ready, a steady win for stores serving customers in languages other than English.
Developer control. The price suffix shown next to prices, such as āincl. VATā, is modifiable via filter hook, and customizations made there now render on the storefront as expected.
Fixes & Stability
Payments and subscriptions. PayPal first payments now reliably activate the correct subscription, with the payment amount and currency verified before activation. Activation happens exactly once even when payment notifications from PayPal arrive at the same moment, and refunds made at PayPal now sync back to FluentCart correctly. For Pro stores running Paddle, subscription statuses now stay in step with FluentCart through more real-world sequences, including past-due, canceled, and failed-then-paid payments.
Storefront polish. Custom Product Stock labels now render on the storefront, the add-to-cart shortcode honors custom button text, and when a coupon applied through a URL is rejected, customers now see an error message instead of silence.
Reports and data. Revenue and order reports no longer fail to load when a grouping option is missing, the dashboard activity count now matches the visible activity list, and a rare crash when loading product variations has been fixed.
Documents. Receipt PDFs generated by FluentCart Pro now render nested layout content, such as columns and groups, correctly.
Security and maintenance. This release includes ongoing security audits and routine hardening across both FluentCart core and FluentCart Pro.
Getting the Bricks Blocks addon
Update FluentCart to 1.5.4 from your dashboard, then head to Settings ā Features & Addons ā Plugin Addons. FluentCart Bricks Blocks appears in the addon list and installs in a click. New stores will also see it as a step in the Getting Started checklist on the dashboard.
Everything else in this release ships with the core and Pro updates; just update from your dashboard.

- Attribute Manager: define reusable option sets once and reuse them across every product, with server-side search, drag-to-reorder values, and inline term creation
- Eight ready-made attribute sets ship out of the box: Color, Size, Material, Storage, Memory, Weight, Style, and Pattern, each pre-filled with common values and real color swatches
- Four display types per attribute: color swatches, image swatches, dropdown select, and button pills
- Smart storefront selector: only valid in-stock combinations stay selectable, color and image choices swap the product photo, and the entire selector is fully keyboard accessible
- Group Bulk Edit: select a variant group and update price, stock, or status across every combination in that group in one action
- Staged saves with a persistent save bar: option changes, term edits, and price updates accumulate visually and nothing persists until you press Save
- Accordion variant navigation: groups expand and collapse with smooth animation, so large catalogs stay manageable
- Scroll-loaded child rows: products with hundreds of combinations expand on demand instead of loading everything at once
- Active or inactive toggle per combination: hide a sold-out variant from shoppers and restore it later with its price and history intact

- Select variation type (Simple or Advanced) right when creating a new product
- Inline term creation: add a new attribute value from the option picker without leaving the product editor

- Group edit icon on parent rows, visible when a group is expanded
- Clickable group header rows: the entire row toggles expand/collapse, not just the arrow
- Attribute breadcrumbs with edit shortcuts and scroll-to-reveal for newly created groups and terms

- Option group and term writes deferred to the Save bar so partial saves cannot occur
- Option delete staged instead of persisting immediately, matching the rest of the staged-save flow
- Group prices revert correctly on discard and no longer force unnecessary decimals
- Bundle (Map) items refresh automatically when advanced-variation combinations change
